This article explains how to set up a computer to access the Quebec Health Record (QHR) from Omnimed.
💻 Individual installation: The method described in this article involves setting up access to the QHR on a single computer. It is applicable if you are working from home or using your personal computer.
💻💻💻 Group installation (GPO): For installation on multiple computers at once, your IT department should instead follow the procedure intended for network administrators.
⚠️ Please note that we are not a Quebec Health Record (Dossier santé Québec). If you do not have a QHR key or if you have questions concerning QHR Production, outside of Omnimed, you must contact their customer service directly.
Prequisites
1. Validate the presence of prerequisites in the article Prerequisites to access the QHR from the EMR.
⚠️ Save any work in progress, as the procedure below involves restarting the computer.
Install the MSSS DSQ viewer kit
2. Download and open the kit VisualiseurDSQMSSS.
If a warning message appears, click on Additional information in order to access the Run anyway option. The installation is safe, you can continue.
3. Select the 4 boxes and click on Suivant.
4. Restart the computer (required).
Install the Omnimed QHR viewer
5. Download and open OmnimedQHRAuthentificatorV3.exe
If a warning message appears, click on Additional information in order to access the Run anyway option. The installation is safe, you can continue.
6. Follow the installation procedure.
7. Restart the computer (required).
